I came across an excellent website called “Reading Rockets”.
I suggest that anyone who is interested in teaching young children check it out. It is devoted to helping your child learn to read and it has many great ideas. It also has a Facebook page that you can join.
Reading Rockets is great for parents and teachers alike. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Reading Rockets has a host of author interviews. . . my students were eager to know more about the creators of their favorite stories!
