Let’s Talk About Your Elementary Child

I have just retired from being a third grade teacher a few weeks ago. I did not retire because I am of retiring age ( I am 57) or because I am burned out ( I still love children and teaching). I retired so that I can spend more time with my husband and grown children who live out of state.
In this blog I want to help parents who have children who are in or near the third grade age (since that is the grade I know the best). I will discuss items like what you can do over the summer with your child, helping your child become a better reader, making going to the grocery store an educational trip and much more.
